Ginnie Thompson threads are a matt 100% cotton for embroidery.

It is thicker than embroidery floss and the soft matt colours match natural dyes. It’s thickness and texture resemble a very high-quality homespun needlework fiber characterized by softness and vivid colors matching traditional nut and berry dyes.

The thread is as thick as two strands of six stranded cotton floss so only one strand is needed on most popular fabric counts; you don’t have to worry about twisted threads in your stitches.

Ginnie Thompson Flower Threads are available in 105 colours each wrapped on a card as a single thread for extra convenience. Each card contains 40 yards of thread. Remove only what you need and never have to unsnarl a tangled skein.
