An Antique Reproduction.

Jane’s sweet design uses a variety of stitches, including cross, long-arm cross, satin, straight, and 4-sided. Floss colors reflect the warm spectrum of beeswax (from marshmallow to caramel to hazelnut). Worked at the bottom, is a teeny-tiny shepherdess, her spotted dog, two sheep, a horse, a tree, and a flowering plant.

Cross stitches are worked over 1 and 2 threads of linen. Instructions are provided for 4-sided and long-arm stitch. Also provided is an alternate way to stitch the shepherdess using all cross stitch if the tiny satin stitches are not your cup of tea!

Stitched on 35 count Weeks Dye Works “Linen” linen using a combination of The Gentle Art and DMC threads.

Pattern includes color photo, professional cross stitch chart with floss colors (including DMC alternates for the GAST threads), and finishing instructions.
