In her signature whimsical style, Barbara Ana translates this long wait into a very poetic piece of needlework:
Santa is coming, but he is riding a snail.
He's dragging not only one, but two trailers.
A whole town, roofs covered with snow, is enjoying the ride, as well a two of Santa's little helpers.
The piece is cross stitched in an interesting mix of acqua blue, rusty red and straw yellow. Quaker motifs fill the background and zig-zag borders frame the picture on either side.
