Dutch Rose Garden 1849 - Samplers Not Forgotten - Cross Stitch Chart

This lovely Reproduction sampler was stitched in 1849 by a 13-year-old Dutch girl. There are so many things I love about this sampler. The borders, the motifs, the colors... what can I say except I LOVE it!

Stitch count: 258W by 273H

Model was stitched on 36 count Parchment hand dyed linen from Weeks Dye Works. We have also suggested a 40 count if you prefer a smaller finish! The model was stitched over two threads of linen using one strand of floss.

Design was stitched with hand dyed threads from Weeks Dye Works.

Weeks Dye Works ~ 1 skein of 1110,1112, 1124,1171, 1183, 1222, 1232,1239,1273,1304,2103,2219,2221,2254; 2 skeins of 2156,2194; 3 skeins of 1264
**Unless otherwise stated all fabric is sold in 1/2 yard increments. If you need a longer length, just order multiple units at checkout.
